Police Unity Tour

Members of the Medford Township Police participated again in the Police Unity Tour, a 360 mile bicycle ride from North Jersey to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington DC. The purpose of the ride is to raise money and awareness for the Memorial and for the survivors of officers killed in the Line of Duty. This years ride, the 10 Anniversary of 9-11, took the bicyclist around Ground Zero enroute to Washington DC. Medford Township also provided the use of thier Police Motor that provided traffic control and safety for the bicyclists during their ride. All officers participated on their own time and all costs incurred were covered by the Police Officers Association and the Police Unity Tour.
